How To Yoga 2 is a sample of different kinds of yoga. This series is designed to give you a sense of how different kinds of yoga work.
Week 1: Breathing for Energy and Meditation - exploring breathing techniques that help you down or up regulate your energy for your practice. We will also provide an introduction to the basics of meditation.
Week 2: Intro to Flow - Learn the basics of linking poses and sequences together to build stability, endurance and strength.
Week 3: Intro to Flow - Learn the basics of Slow Flow and building your core for the yoga vinyasa road ahead.
Weeks 4&5: Intro to Hatha Yoga - Hatha yoga is a more traditional form of practice. In these two sessions we will explore how yoga can help in targeted areas of the body - back, legs, hips and shoulders.
Week 6: Intro to Restorative Yoga - Many people seek yoga for calming and soothing. This session will give you practice with down regulating, setting up your space for optimal relaxation positions, and you will practice a guided relaxation.
This series will help you make appropriate class choices so you can further your yoga journey while meeting yourself where you are and with what you need! $70 for the six week series.
