MBFY offers in depth yoga instruction and meditation instruction through the Inquire Within Project.  This is a 12 month program that meets once a month for 4 hours to learn and practice Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Philosophy.  For those wishing to go further and become yoga teachers, there is an adjunct yoga teacher training program that will run in tandem with the Inquire Within Project.  You must be registered for the Inquire Within Project to apply for the Yoga Teacher Training program.  Questions?  Please contact Andrea.

Over the past several years, The Inquire Within Project has helped students gain a deeper, more satisfying knowledge of what yoga is and how to practice it to gain greater benefits both on and off the yoga mat. In 12 months is breaks down elements of traditional yoga - asana, pranayama, meditation and philosophy and helps students incorporate these elements into their personal yoga/meditation practice. Most students attending this course have found it to be a great way to support creating and sustaining a personal home practice in addition to consistent sessions with a teacher in the studio. Graduates of the program have experienced positive personal change as a result of these studies.


The Inquire Within Project is a yoga enrichment program that has two tracks

Student of Yoga - for those seeking to deepen their yoga practice.

Student of Yoga into Teacher Training - for those seeking to deepen their yoga practice AND study and practice to become a yoga teacher.


Each track lays the foundation for a yoga practice with depth and room for expansion of skills, knowledge and practical application. Over 12 months, participants will study yoga philosophy, Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), and Meditation. Those opting for additional study to become a certified yoga teacher will also study anatomy, teaching techniques, the business of yoga, and will participate in practical training (observing, assisting and teaching classes) during these 12 months.


This program is for any one that wants to learn more about yoga to deepen their practice. It works best if you have a base of some yoga experience from which to draw (at least 6 months of consistent attendance in classes).


Sessions will meet on designated IWP Sunday afternoons:

Students of Yoga will attend from 1 - 4pm;

Students of Yoga into Teacher Training will attend on IWP Sundays from 1 - 6 pm (the additional 2 hrs. for training in the instruction of asana), plus 5 additional Saturday sessions on IWP weekends from Noon - 5:30 pm for training is teaching techniques and practicum. And 5 additional Friday sessions on IWP weekends from 6 - 9:30 pm for Master Classes and anatomy study.


This program must have at least 6 participants and no more than 12. Registration is from April 15 - October 31, 2019.

About Andrea Dyer, E RYT 500

Andrea is a long time yoga practitioner and has over 20 years of teaching experience (more than 15K hours). She loves sharing yoga and believes that yoga meets everyone exactly where they are right now. She brings compassionate lightness to the studio and her diverse teachings are based in mindfulness. Andrea is the owner/director at MBFY.


Ever a student herself, her teachers are David Williams, Erich Schiffmann, Paul & Suzee Grilley, Sarah Powers and Cyndi Lee. 


Andrea teaches a full range of classes: Ashtanga/Core Strength/Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Insight Meditation. She leads international yoga retreats, and in her spare time, she and her husband rock it out in the cheap seats at as many concerts as they can attend. 


Andrea and her husband Jon established mind|body|fitness yoga as a haven for those seeking peace, warmth and self-realization. mind|body|fitness yoga is an inclusive community that cares deeply about providing sanctuary to those on yoga's inward path.
